Domiciliary

MF Care and Housing specialise in working with individuals and families who require care and support in their own homes. We offer person-centred care tailored to everyone's support needs.

MF Care and Housing is a national provider of domiciliary care previously known as homecare. We work with individuals and families who require health and social care needs in their own homes. We offer a bespoke service tailored to the individual support needs, which involves check-in visits, personal care, medication administration, supported living, shopping, hospital visits, support with benefit collection, sleep-ins and waking nights duties etc.

Choose our flexible homecare services, anything from a check-in visit, to 24-hour live-in care. We can offer short term help (following an illness or because your usual carer is having a break), or longer-term homecare and support. All our staff are fully trained to:
  • Support wake-up call, helping you to get up, wash, shower or bathe, dress and have breakfast.
  • Support to remind or assist to administer medicines and collect or return medication from your pharmacy or dispensing GP surgery.
  • Prepare meals with or for you and support with your meal-time requirement
  • Support with eating out when required.
  • Support to collect your pension with you or for you.
  • Support with shopping with you or for you.
  • Support with your laundry or ironing and keeping your home clean and tidy.
  • Support with social activities e.g. going for a walk, swimming, attending a day centre, visit to friends and family, attending functions, religious services etc.
  • Support with appointments (GP, Hospital, Chiropodist, Dentist, Optician etc).
  • Support with getting in and out of bed.
  • Support with medication ordering, collection, administration etc.
  • Sleep-ins or waking night support.

What is domiciliary care?
Domiciliary care is provided to people who live in their own homes but require additional support with activities, including household tasks, personal care and any other activity that allows them to maintain both their independence and quality of life.

Domiciliary care is for people who may start to find it difficult to complete different areas of their routine and want some support whilst staying in familiar surroundings. Regular home visits from a fully trained care worker, from 30 minutes through to several hours a day, can be arranged to help you with a wide range of everyday tasks, including:
  • Personal and continence care.
  • Managing medication.
  • Helping to mobilise in and around the home.
  • Household tasks and meal preparation.
  • Clinical care, including catheter and stoma management and PEG feeding.
MF Care and Housing is CQC registered and all staff are enhanced DBS checked. We work with various local authorities, NHS hospitals, private hospitals and individuals with direct payment.
